I could start by talking about me, about how I had an internal revolution that changed me forever. But, it is impossible for me not to start with the hundreds of people who are constantly working to change a not very encouraging course; who struggle to be a new generation full of empathy, who give priority to the essentials of life, to what feeds our dreams and gives us the hope to believe that everything is possible. Today I am a little bit of each of them. Let's lead the change
Community
I dreamt of belonging to a group of people who would genuinely fight for what they believed in. When I least expected it, I received an invitation to a campaign that changed my life. The impact was immediate, and I began to attend various environmental awareness activities with different organisations, which worked for the common good and with great altruism, often without realising the awakening and positive impact they were having on others.
I must confess that despite all the good things I saw, I felt the need to go further. To challenge myself, to be the architect of what I had always dreamed of, and that is how I started what is, so far, one of the best parts of my life and founded Green Wolf Costa Rica. It is an organisation for the protection of the environment that works in an integral way, with an authentic and inclusive leadership from clean-up campaigns, reforestation, education, animal welfare, entrepreneurship and art (music, painting, dance). From these areas we have achieved the development of skills and the empowerment of each of our members, which have made me reaffirm the best virtues of the human being. I found that group that I was looking for before, I found brothers, sisters, family, people who are governed with love, loyalty, unwavering strength and solidarity, in short, I found my pack.
Overall change
Often we look for in others what is already within us, we do not realise that we are different but special. A puzzle that in our different ways we fit together perfectly. Today, after almost 10 months, we dream, not only of changing our environment, but the whole world.
To make a change we need to work tirelessly on what we are passionate about, to take risks no matter if we are alone. When we do this, life itself will place the right people so that together they can achieve the dreams they envisioned when they closed their eyes.
